Battery Express sells batteries on cash or credit.

According to the State, in situations where batteries were sold on credit, it was Musinyari’s responsibility to collect the money on behalf of the company.
Prosecutor Ms Joyce Sithole alleged that between November last year and January this year and on different occasions, Musinyari received US$20 955 from company clients, who had taken batteries on credit.
Musinyari was supposed to remit the money to the company.

Instead of remitting all the money to the company, Musinyari allegedly converted some of the money to his own use.
The company later discovered the offence and reported the matter to the police leading to Musinyari’s arrest.
Nothing was recovered.
