143 officers graduate at Jason Ziyaphapha Moyo Airbase

A total of 143 Airforce of Zimbabwe officers from the country’s airbase stations graduated this morning during the Joint Pass Out Parade at Jason Ziyaphapha Moyo Airbase in Chegutu.
The officers graduated after undergoing the Ceremonial Drill Instructors’ Course, the Squad Drill Instructors’ Course, the Weapon Instructors’ Course and the Basic Anti-Air Artillery Course.

Among some of the graduates was Flight Sergeant Jowa who was the best student in the Ceremonial Drill Instructors’ Course.
Airforce of Zimbabwe Chief of Staff Operations, Air Vice Marshal Biltim Chingono presided over the event.
Air Vice Marshall Chingono said the Air Force of Zimbabwe is determined to ensure that the country’s air defence system matches technological advancements.

“The training of personnel in the air defence system is of paramount importance to the defence of the nation,” he said.
