JAH Prayzah’s handlers say they have learnt a lot about professionalism, and the power of hard work, from world renowned reggae outfit, Morgan Heritage.

The multiple award-winner, who has worked with a number of international artists, collaborated with the reggae outfit on one of their forth-coming songs.

Jah Prayzah has always believed in the power of networking and creating new synergies.

The 35-year-old artist features on one of the songs off the LP, set to be released by Morgan Heritage, titled The Homeland, on April 21.

Zimbabwe’s Jusa Dementor co-produced the album.

Following Jah Prayzah’s latest milestone, his camp reckons the singer is now an international brand.

“It feels good having worked with Morgan Heritage and recording a song together with them,” said his manager Keen Mushapaidze.

“We have learnt to work hard as a group as well to ensure we maintain international standards.

“The song was recorded at JP Studios. It was quite an amazing experience that we had.”

He reckons big collaborations have made Jah Prayzah bigger.

“Jah Prayzah is now an international brand due to hard work and collaborations he did with a number of international artists over the years, the latest being Morgan Heritage.

“This is a big project by Morgan Heritage and we are happy to be part of it.”

Prior to the interview, Jah Prayzah had posted on his social media handles alerting fans of the new collaboration.

“The Morgan Heritage, Homeland album is coming out on the 21st of April.

“Be ready for this one, the much awaited song I featured on is also part of the album,” reads the post.

Jah Prayzah’s hunger for success is now paying off as the singer started from a humble background where doubting Thomases did not even give him a chance.

And, to be endorsed by Morgan Heritage Family, is a triumph for Jah Prayzah’s camp.

Some of the big names, which featured on Homeland with the Grammy award-winning reggae family, are Busy Signal, Eddy Kenzo, Popcaan, Youssou N’dou, Stoney Bwoy, Shatta Whalle and Beenie Man.

This project is part of the Morgan Heritage Family’s quest to unite Jamaican and African artists.

Over the years, Jah Prayzah has collaborated with Jah Cure, Davido, Diamond Platinumz and Mafikizolo.

On home soil, Jah Prayzah has collaborated with both seasoned musicians and the new crop of young artists.
