2 570 graduands for NUST graduation

A TOTAL of 2 570 graduands are set to graduate at the 32nd National University of Science and Technology (NUST) graduation ceremony.

A total of 1 362 males are graduating, while 1 208 females are receiving their certificates.

The total number of graduands from NUST-affiliated institutions is 212, while the number of students graduating with distinctions and first-class degrees stands at 293.

Sixty-five graduands have awards, while the number of graduands who will be physically capped by Chancellor President Mnangagwa was not stated.

Three students will graduate posthumously.

Nineteen students are from neighbouring Botswana, Eswatini, Mauritius and Zambia, while three graduands are living with disabilities.

Five are graduating with doctorates.
