TWO Great Zimbabwe University students perished in a horror road accident along the Masvingo-Harare highway en-route to their graduation ceremony in Masvingo.
Maxwell Katsvara and Tatenda Ngandu lost their lives after a vehicle that was carrying three GZU students – including the two – rammed into the back of a truck on Thursday.
GZU Director of Information Mr Anderson Chipatiso confirmed the incident.
“I can confirm the death of two of our students yesterday in a road accident as they were coming to Masvingo to attend today’s graduation ceremony where they were also due to graduate,” said Mr Chipatiso.
He said exact details surrounding the horror crash were still to be gathered.
