Outlaw homosexuality, Zimbabweans tell Copac

ZIMBABWEANS want homosexuality outlawed, boldly state that land reform is irreversible and demand equitable distribution of the country’s wealth for the benefit of all citizens, a national report compiled by Copac during the outreach programme has revealed.
The report carries people’s undiluted views, which seem to dovetail with Zanu-PF’s thematic points.
According to the report, over 63 percent of people who contributed during the Copac outreach programme that covered 1 950 wards countrywide, want homosexuality and same sex marriages declared illegal.

2012 National Budget deferred again

GOVERNMENT has once again postponed the announcement of the 2012 National Budget from today to Thursday.
In a statement yesterday, Finance Minister Tendai Biti said: “The Principals of the GPA met today, Monday 21 November 2011, at 1500 hours. Due to various commitments on their part, the presentation of the 2012 National Budget is deferred from Tuesday 22 November to Thursday 24 November 2011, in Parliament at 1415 hours. Any inconvenience caused to stakeholders is sincerely regretted.”
This is the second time the announcement has been deferred.
