Chicken Inn go for training camp

AMBITIOUS Bulawayo Castle Lager Premier Soccer League club Chicken Inn left with 36 players yesterday for a 10-day uninterrupted training camp on the outskirts of Bulawayo.
Former Warriors and Highlanders striker Adam Ndlovu, the fast-foods outlets sponsored club’s coach, is expected to unveil his final squad of 30 players on their return from the camp.

‘Poor marketing causes artistes failure’

WELL-planned marketing strategies have proved to be the solution to most artistes’ stunted growth in the music industry, former Moonlight Studios Marketing manager, Chamunorwa “Chamz” Makombe, has said.
Speaking to Chronicle during a promotional visit of up-and-coming house artiste Marshall “S’bu” Mazambani, Makombe said the reason why many up-and-coming artistes fail to make it in the industry was poor marketing strategies.
Chronicle tops US box office
Los Angeles — Superhero film Chronicle leaped to the top of the North American box office on its debut, estimates showed on Sunday, telling the story of three high school students who acquire incredible powers.
Chronicle, which garnered positive reviews from critics and was filmed on location in Cape Town, brought in $22m in box office receipts, according to industry tracker Exhibitor Relations.
