THE interaction between the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) and the Namibian Defence Forces (NDF) is welcome and will go a long way in promoting skills that will improve both armies.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony at Imbizo Barracks in Bulawayo on Thursday, when seven soldiers received certificates for completing an ammunition technical officers’ course, the deputy Commander HQ

Bulawayo District Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Munyanduki said he was impressed by the relationship between the two countries.

“I am impressed with the inclusion of our brothers from the Namibian Defence Forces who were part of the six-month course. The ammunition technical officers’ course was designed to equip you with supervisory skills in the field of ammunition and we now expect you to supervise ammunition technicians during different operations,” said Lt Col Munyanduki.
