There is a belief that menopause brings an end to sexual activity and that most men become frigid when it comes to having sex with their wives once they reach menopause.  In actual fact menopause marks the end of a woman’s fertile life but not her sexual life.  The same period is referred to as climacteric by those in the medical profession.
