THE play, A Water Story by prominent Bulawayo playwright, Raisedon Baya, is set to be redone as the producers feel the play is still relevant in light of Bulawayo’s ongoing water crisis.
The play, which premiered last year, explores the water crisis bedevilling the city and how the problem has remained unsolved over the last 100 years. It centres on three main characters, Khaya, Bafana and Rush who highlight some of the embarrassing trials and tribulations of not having water.
