Lawyer challenges water disconnections
Daniel Nemukuyu Senior ReporterA lawyer has filed a High Court application challenging municipalities’ tendency of disconnecting water from “defaulting consumers” without obtaining a court order.
Mr Farai Mushoriwa of Mawere and Sibanda law firm, although he contends that he fully paid for the water, argues that council had no authority at law to disconnect him.
