2018 Grade Seven results out
The 2018 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) Grade Seven results are out and candidates can start collecting them from their schools today, ZIMSEC board chairman Professor Eddie Mwenje said in a statement yesterday.
$472m budget for city. . . water tariffs, clamping and towing fees up
The Harare City Council yesterday presented a $472,2 million budget for 2019 indicating that the local authority will increase water tariffs by 19 percent while charges for most services remain unchanged.
Govt gets tough on businesses
Government is crafting a law that compels business people who receive foreign currency allocation from Treasury to charge their products in local currency, President Mnangagwa has said. Further, Government will revoke licences of such business people with immediate effect if they failed to comply.
Van Hoog opposes Hwange reconstruction
British businessman Nicholas van Hoogstraten, says he is going to challenge the reconstruction of Hwange Colliery Company Limited (HCCL). Van Hoogstraten holds a 31 percent shareholding in HCCL. In October, Government placed Hwange Colliery Company Limited under reconstruction.
Morgan Heritage gears up for Zim return
Jamaican reggae outfit Morgan Heritage makes its way to Zimbabwe for the second time in two years. The revered outfit is set to jet into the country on December 20 for a concert at the Harare International Conference Centre on December 21.
It will be a special event because fellow Jamaican singer Lutan Fyah will be part of the concert, making it an event that promises nothing short of fireworks.
