Stands to offset salary arrears

CHITUNGWIZA Municipality, which has been failing to settle ballooning salary arrears, has resolved to give its workers residential stands to offset what it owes them. Council owes the workers over $20 million. Town Clerk Dr George Makunde confirmed the development in an interview with The Herald yesterday.
