3 dead, 20 injured in Mazowe crash

THREE people died while 20 others were injured when a small vehicle and a minibus collided in Mazowe yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services and police responded promptly to the scene, where they worked to assist the victims and manage the situation.

The specific circumstances surrounding the accident remained unclear by late last night as police intensified investigations to determine the cause of the devastating incident.

Of the injured, 18 passengers were admitted to Bindura Provincial Hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment.

Two others who sustained critical injuries, were transferred to Harare for specialised care.

Further details regarding the identities of those killed could not be immediately released as authorities needed to notify their relatives first.
