The Ayayawaddy-river-crossing bridge, Yadana Theinka, under construction that links Shwebo, Kyaukmyaung and Singu, collapsed claiming the life of the man with 15 workers being injured and four went missing.
The bridge collapse has caused the sinking of a vessel loading with goods underneath the bridge.
Other injured include 10 from Kyauk Myaung, one monk from Khin Oo and three from Singu.
There were damages with a small number of residential houses, school buildings and pagodas in nine areas — Sagaing, Shwebo, Kyauk Myaung, Khin Oo, Mandalay, Amarapura, Singu, Kyaukse and Tabaitgine, the TV report said.
