3 ministers reassigned

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has reassigned three Cabinet ministers, with Dr Zhemu Soda, previously the Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities, being appointed Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister.

Dr Jenfan Muswere, the incumbent, will now oversee the Ministry of Skills Audit and Development.

Additionally, Professor Paul Mavima has been appointed as the new Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities.

In a press statement yesterday, Chief Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya, said the reassignments were with immediate effect.

“In terms of Section 104, Subsection (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, His Excellency the President, Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has re-assigned the under-listed ministers as follows: Hon Dr Jenfan Muswere:   Minister of Skills Audit and Development, Hon. Prof Paul Mavima:  Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities, Hon Dr Zhemu Soda: Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.

“The re-assignments are with immediate effect,” said Dr Rushwaya.
