3 teams join Chimanimani Football Association

THREE more teams have joined the Chimanimani Football Association (CHIFA), bringing the total number of teams affiliated to the league to 19.

This emerged during the CHFA 2024 inception meeting held at Craft Centre in Chimanimani Village last week on Saturday.

The CHIFA board agreed to have all teams pay US$35 as affiliation fee for the 2024 season.

The meeting also saw a new board of management led by Samuel Masaiti from Masaiti FC being put in place.

Masaiti is the director of the league and will be deputised by Panganai Mandevhana (Elands FC).

The league’s secretary will be Challenge Mupango (Elands FC),vice-secretary, Tatenda Chivhuro (Charter FC), information and publicity team comprised of Tinashe Johnson Murehwa and Simbarashe Chinamira (both from OBZ FC), secretary for referees, Jasper Chinawa and treasurer, Tonderai Masaiti of (Chikukwa FC).

A number of knock-out tournaments have been lined for the 2024 season.
