NEW: Rajput names squad for Sri Lanka tour

Zimbabwe senior men’s cricket national team has named a 15-man squad to face Sri Lanka in three ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League matches.

The matches are scheduled for January 16, 18 and 21 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.

The team will be led by veteran batsman, Craig Ervine.

The team includes the uncapped duo

of opening batsman, Takudzwanashe Kaitano and wicketkeeper, Clive Madande, while all-rounder, Tino Mutombodzi has returned to the national side.

The games, which are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, will be day-night affairs scheduled for 16, 18 and 21 January.

Zimbabwe will leave for Sri-Lanka this Saturday.
