A BUHERA self-claimed prophet was left with egg in the face and fined five beasts by a traditional court for bedding a married woman for nine months.
The woman was already pregnant and gave birth to a child that refused to breastfeed, forcing the mother to confess her illicit deeds. The apostolic sect man, Madzibaba Luckson Chikore aka Madzibaba Comnage’s was recently dragged to Headman Nemhari’s traditional court facing adultery charges where he was asked to pay five beasts to Tedius Mapuranga for illegally enjoying the forbidden fruit of his wife Pamela Bandiko.
The families hail from Muzivi Village in Buhera District.
Madzibaba Comnage is the leader and so-called Muporofita of an undisclosed apostolic sect in Zinyembe and Nemhari areas. The illicit affair between the two morally bereft lovebirds started in January last year when Pamela visited Madzibaba’s shrine and was enticed by promises of having her material and financial need catered for.
Madzibaba Comnage went on to “prophesy” to Pamela that her husband was sexually weak and not gratifying her. Madzibaba Comnage and Mapuranga are friends. He offered to augment with the best sex and Pamela gave in to his advances. The woman told the headman’s court that they dated for nine months during which they curved a niche of having “hot” sex daily – save for Thursdays – since it was the day Madzibaba would be busy kushandira vanhu (attending to clients at the shrine). The lovebirds’ illicit affair came to light when Pamela, who was pregnant when their shenanigans started, gave birth, but the child did not suckle for a while. The family engaged another prophet who ordered the parents to confess their sins to save the innocent soul.
This prompted Pamela to confess her illicit affair with Madzibaba Comnage. Witnesses said when the confession was made at their homestead, the child continued refusing to suckle. The family proceeded to Madzibaba Comnage’s place where Pamela confessed right in the adulterer’s face and the child started suckling.
