50 Cent still living large

Amid continued financial problems 50 Cent continues to live lavishly. Filing for bankruptcy just days ago and owing creditors close to $30 million, Fiddy is certainly not living a frugal existence.

The 40-year-old rapper – originally named Curtis Jackson – was spotted on Saturday toting a $2 000 Louis Vuitton duffle bag as he flew first-class to New York after playing a show in London.

TMZ reports that the rapper’s multimillion-dollar debt includes outstanding payments to Bentley ($137 880), American Express ($64 909) and $23 million in court fees.

And among the money owed to corporations and legal fees, 50 Cent even owes $1 737,33 to his own grandfather.

Almost too conveniently, the bag Fiddy was seen carrying on Saturday is extremely close in price to what he owes to his grandfather – and news of the familial debt broke just days before the sighting.

Aside from the extravagant bag, the rapper wasn’t wearing highly expensive attire on Saturday.

He sported a simple pair of grey sweatpants, a graphic tee and a baseball cap.

But sources said that the rapper made the trip to Europe – which was for a G-Unit reunion show – while flying first-class.

As a man of many talents (rapper, life coach, actor, etc.), 50 Cent’s most recent extracurricular pursuit has been acting.

He’s featured alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams in this summer’s boxing film “Southpaw”.

After playing himself in the biopic “Get Rich or Die Tryin”, this film will feature the rapper as the manager to Gyllenhaal’s struggling boxer.

Another co-star in the upcoming Antoine Fuqua directed film is up-and-comer Oona Laurence.

The 12-year-old actress is set to star in the latest Disney franchise, a reboot of “Pete’s Dragon”.

TMZ reports that the young star will be making $100 000 for the first film, $200 000 for the second, and then $400 000 for the third.

Meanwhile, Laurence’s much older co-star Fiddy has spoken publicly about his Chapter 11 declaration, telling Conan, “you get a bullseye painted on your back when you’re success- ful”.

Conan mentioned that: “You look like you’re doing ok.”

And 50 Cent hasn’t been endorsing his case for destitution as he was seen the other week making it rain at a strip club. – dailymail.
