Sixty-five non-commissioned officers of the Zimbabwe National Army graduated last Friday after completing a 16-week military tactics course.
Brigadier-General Paul Chima presented certificates to the graduates of the Platoon Sergeant Tactics course at Parachute Regiment at Inkomo Barracks. Brig-Gen Chima reiterated that the ZNA stood ready to thwart any forms of aggression.

“We have remained alert and we are ready to detect and defeat any kind of hostile acts by our country`s detractors,” he said. “You must remain alert, suspicious and as inquisitive as possible in order to deter and defeat any hostile acts by our country’s detractors.”
He urged the graduates to put their newly-acquired knowledge to good use.

Among other subjects, the course covered field craft, weapons training, voice procedure, first aid, map reading, minor tactics, conduct of phases of war and low intensity operations.
