Whilst every other nine-year old’s mind is occupied with playing and eating sweets, there is a nine-year-old with a difference. She is thinking of writing and publishing a book.
Anisha Tinaye Choruma is a young vibrant 9-year-old girl doing grade 3 primary education in Johannesburg South Africa. She has a passion for writing. She loves reading and has a passion for swimming. She is an ambitious young lady who sees no limits to her dreams.
As a part of a family of four children she loves her family and enjoys playing with her siblings.
Being a PK (Pastor’s Kid) has also given a great personality and her friends love her.
The Mystery of the Missing Cookies is the tittle of her book. She says this is not the first book she has written but the first to be published.
The book was published by Faithland Publishers and was launched on the 10th of December in Johannesburg.
The book is about a girl who was asked to bake cookies for a School bake sale and somebody in the family ate the cookie. Like the author would say “for you to find out who ate the cookies, you need to buy the book!
“The book is a good reader for the children. It’s not just an ordinary book, a book with lessons and helps children with their sight words and has memory verses in it.” said Anisha Choruma.
Her parents Pride and Elizabeth Choruma encouraged parents to support their children’s dreams. God has put a special gift in every child and it’s the duty of the parent to realise it and nature it.
The book is found on www.africa.co.za. You can also place and order through the book’s Facebook page.
