AT least 14 suburbs in Bulawayo will be without electricity for about seven hours between 9 am and 4 pm on 10 July due to load-shedding.

In a statement on X, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) identified the affected areas as Mahatshula North, Romney Park, Woodville, Queenspark East, Queenspark West, North-End, Tegela, Newman’s Ford, Waterlily, Reigate, Emhlangeni, Sauce Town, Matebele Steam Laundry, Kingsdale, Amakhosi, Crematorium, Mzilikazi High School, Lady Stanley Cemetery, Northlea, S.O.S Children’s Home and surrounding areas.

The power utility said it has implemented planned power cuts in designated areas to improve electrical distribution.

“Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice,” said the ZETDC.
