72 candidates nominated for High Court and Administrative Court Judge positions

A TOTAL of 72 candidates have been nominated to attend interviews for 10 vacant High Court judges and one Administrative Court judge positions with the first round of interviews set for April 8.

For the High Court, 61 candidates are eyeing the posts while 11 are vying for the Administrative Court post.

The list for both courts has some renowned magistrates and lawyers such as Filabusi magistrate Mr Abednico Ndebele who has been nominated for the High Court post while Bulawayo regional magistrate Mr Collet Ncube is nominated for both the High Court and the Administrative Court posts

“The list of candidates nominated to participate in the first round of interviews to fill in the 10 vacancies on the High Court bench and one on the Administrative Court bench, is now out.

The interviews have been slated for 8 April 2024,” said the Judiciary Services Commission in a statement posted on their official X account.
