SOUTH Africa-based gospel musician, Takesure Zamar, is no longer taking part in the much-anticipated “Kingdom World Tour” featuring renowned gospel stars Maverick City and Kirk Franklin at the Glamis Arena on August 12.
Zamar had been roped into the show as a supporting act along with The Unveiled, Joyful Praise Choir and Tembalami.

The star, who was set to provide variety at the event, shared the news on his social media handles.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Takesure Zamar Ncube and the Worship Addicts will no longer participate in the upcoming Maverick City tour to Zimbabwe as earlier advertised. We thank you for your continued support. God bless you,” reads the post.

Contacted for comment, event director, Pastor Lyncolin Kapswara confirmed the development.

“As he mentioned himself, there were unforeseen circumstances,” he said.

“Preparations are moving along as planned. As with any event, there are always hiccups along the way, but we are happy with the progress we have made,” he said.

Pastor Kapswara assured fans that new replacements will be announced soon.

“We will be making an announcement in the next few days.”
