96-year-old Plumtree businessman Physant Kikins memorial service underway at Dingumuzi Stadium

THE memorial service for late businessman and man of the cloth Mr Physant Kikins is currently underway at Dingumuzi Stadium in Plumtree town.

Mr Kikins passed away on September 10 at the age of 96. He will be buried at a local cemetery.

Hundreds of people from the border town and beyond have come in numbers to celebrate the life of an inspiration to many from the Matabeleland region snd beyond.

Mr Kikins served as a Reverend and the deputy General Overseer of the Twelve Apostolic Church of Christ, where he was involved in leadership and legal disputes regarding church administration.

He is a local property owner and businessman

Attending the burial proceedings is Deputy Minister of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Cde Dingumuzi Phuti, Senator Mbambo from Matabeleland North province, councillors from Plumtree Town Council, Bulilima and Mangwe Rural District Councils.
