ENGLAND will win the 2026 World Cup, according to the world’s leading football AI algorithm.
The data cruncher has analysed hundreds of pieces of info about every player, team and match to determine results.
And after 60 years of hurt, it is predicting Three Lions success. Football manager game SLOW Football expects England to qualify top of Group L and beat Senegal in the round of 32.
That sets up a last 16 clash with Scotland, before Thomas Tuchel’s men see off Erling Haaland’s Norway and Lionel Messi’s Argentina to reach the final.
There, England are predicted to overcome the demons of the 2024 Euros final, exacting revenge against Spain, with Bukayo Saka scoring the only goal of the match. Harry Kane is tipped to finish as Golden Boot winner, as he did in 2018.
The betting market favours Spain for World Cup glory, with the team having enjoyed a close to flawless route through qualification — only dropping points in a 2-2 draw against Turkey.
But England are close behind having won all of their qualifying matches without conceding a goal.
Head coach Tuchel has until May 30 to pick his squad for this summer tournament hosted by Canada, Mexico and the US.
The talent at his disposal includes Kane, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden.
The football algorithm also predicts Mexico to be the co-host that goes furthest, to the round of 16, with the US knocked out by Germany in the round of 32 and Canada failing to make it out of their group.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s international career is tipped to be ended by Italy — who still need to confirm their place in the tournament through this month’s play-offs — while Brazil’s path is expected to be blocked by Norway.
SLOW Football founder Lee Price said: “Our community loves the retro references and feel of SLOW Football, mashed together with cutting-edge technology, to give them the ultimate footballing experience.
“Which is what we’re expecting for England fans.
