A man is not superior to a woman: Monalisa Chinda

Nollywood actress and film producer, Monalisa Chinda has expressed her view on the prevalent issue of gender inequality once more, stating that everyone is equal in a relationship irrespective of gender. Speaking at the just concluded Pearls International Conference in Abuja, while speaking to participants who were mainly women about relationships, the actress noted that the man does not supersede the woman.

In a relationship, both parties are relevant and no one is more superior than the other,” she said.

The 40-year-old actress had earlier revealed that she was once a victim of domestic violence but was strong to fight over it and feels a woman should not be underestimated in a relationship.

After the success of her December show, “A Dance for Life”, Monalisa decided to enter the beauty industry. She recently disclosed plans to launch her range of beauty products, which she has named M-CODE.
