A must win game for AmaZulu: Mugeyi

AMAZULU assistant coach Wilfred “Silver Fox” Mugeyi is not throwing in the towel yet even though his side is rooted at the bottom of the Absa Premiership after failing to win a game in five outings this season. Mugeyi says all will change this weekend.
The Durban-based side travels to Limpopo on Saturday evening where they play another struggling side Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium for a game described by Mugeyi as a decisive match for their future in the league. He said the team must shape up and start getting results as things might get tougher for them if they fail to collect enough points earlier.

The former Black Aces marksman told Chronicle Sport on Thursday evening: “This is a game we have to win at all costs to avoid some pressure as the league games progress. We are heading north only for three points, nothing else. Believe me the mood in camp is overwhelming, everyone is ready for the game.  We know how important this game is to our opponents as they are in the same situation like us.”

Mugeyi said all his players are available for selection including former Highlanders goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini and Warriors defender Carlington Nyadombo who both captain the side. He said:

“The good thing is that we have managed to rectify our past mistakes and close some loopholes which have been costing us dearly.”
