Multimedia communications group, AB Communications (Pvt) Ltd has appointed Ms Vongai Muzenda as managing director with effect from August 1.
She joins from the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation where she was director for marketing and sales.
Ms Muzenda holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration degree from the Midlands State University, a marketing degree with the Institute of Marketing Management in South Africa and a diploma in Mass Communication from the Harare Polytechnic’s Division of Mass Communication.
Mr Nobert Tshetu has been appointed general manager of TruckAds Media, an AB Communications company specialising in mobile (moving) outdoor advertising, static and electronic billboards, instore and outdoor product activation and experiential marketing.
Mr Tshetu has worked in the media industry in Zimbabwe for many years.
His experience includes stints with Alpha Media Holdings, Lion Match and Interpak.
Mr Spencer Manguwa has been appointed chief commercial officer.
Mr Manguwa has 15 years experience in Telecommunications and Financial services, after he served at some of the leading blue chip, multi-national companies in Africa namely Econet Wireless and Standard Bank.
