ABBIE’S FEARS TURN INTO TEARS OF JOY

H-Metro Reporter

WHEN ZBC reporter Abigirl Tembo was told that her picture was in yesterday’s edition of H-Metro, she has revealed that she feared the WORST.

Tembo’s fears put into context what many feel when they hear that their picture, or story, has appeared in this newspaper.

Hana yatomborova pandanzi wabuda muH-Metro,” she said on her social media platforms.

“Thank you guys or can you allow me to brag just this once and say ‘When Game Recognises Game.’

One of her followers, Ano Shumba, said she was right to be concerned.

Ko inogorova sei if all is good? Chete kungoti ka paper kaya hakana mashuwa,” said Shumba

Well, the reality is that Abigirl, one of the best journalists of her generation, had no reason to be fearful.

After all, her appearance in this newspaper yesterday was a celebration of the latest award she has picked in her career.

On Friday night, she was honoured as the “Outstanding Health Policy Reporter” at the Zim Community Trailblazers Awards at the Harare International Conference Centre.

“To the camerapersons, picture editors, script editors and producers I work with on a daily basis, thank you,” said Abigirl.
