ABC Auctions has opened its doors, two days after their office along Seke Road, was hit by a gang of armed robbers.

Property and cash worth about US$1.4 million was lost in the daring robbery.

When H-Metro visited the offices on Monday afternoon, business had returned to normal, with workers going about their business as usual.

The company lost about US$1.4 million to gun wielding robbers at around 1:30am on Saturday.

In a statement, ABC Auctions said it’s grateful to the police for their timely response.

“We are grateful to the Zimbabwe Republic Police for their timely and professional response.

“We trust that their investigations will bear fruit,” reads part of the auctioneers’ statement.

It advised customers that business would continue as usual with increased security.

“We encourage everyone to be wary of media reports as no statements have been released and reports may be exaggerated.

“Our offices will be open for business on Monday 10th October where we will continue striving to serve our valued customers,” reads the statement.
