Disco music songstress Abigail Mabuza is gearing up to release a new single on April 10, and fans in Bulawayo will get an exclusive first taste of the track during a live performance this weekend.

Mabuza is set to headline a show at a local leisure spot in Bulawayo on Friday night, where she will perform the yet-to-be-released song as a teaser ahead of its official launch.

The event will also feature Harare-based artiste Khonangale, while local DJs DJ Keitho, DJ Flexxy, DK SKB and DJ Ayaxx will take turns on the decks. MC Kay One is set to host the show.

Mabuza revealed that the upcoming track is titled Isipho and marks the beginning of several projects she plans to release this year.
“It’s been a year since I last performed at this venue, and coming back gives me confidence and the opportunity to reconnect with my followers. I’ve missed them a lot,” she said.

“I promise to give them my best with dedication and love. They should expect an amazing performance and new things from my team and me. As I’ll be releasing my single on April 10, I will definitely give them a taste of it,” said Mabuza.

The performance is expected to set the tone for what promises to be a busy year for the disco sensation. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
