ZimRe Holdings Limited (ZHL) is a Zimbabwe Stock Exchange listed group founded in Harare in 1983.
The group operates through subsidiaries to provide solutions for general insurance, health cover, reinsurance, life reassurance, reinsurance brokering and property services for private, commercial and corporate clients in Zimbabwe and overseas.
Its insurance products range from short-term and whole-life insurance to endowment pensions, medical aid societies, and motor, household, and commercial insurance solutions.
The group also has interests in producing a range of animal-drawn implements and in property management; maintaining, developing and leasing properties in the residential and commercial property market in Zimbabwe.
It is an active growth-oriented investor that provides strategic leadership, guidance and ensures value creation and portfolio optimisation.
Stanley Kudenga is the Group Chief Executive Officer of ZHL.
He is a registered Chartered Accountant CA (Z) and formerly the managing director of FBC Reinsurance.
He was once the director of the Zimbabwe Investment Authority where he played a key role in the consolidation of the authority’s units and bringing ease to doing business in Zimbabwe.
