Acaja Chillspot in Ntabazinduna was filled with excitement as women from various regions gathered recently to celebrate Africa Day. Proprietor Abednico Dube said over 26 ladies attending from Inyathi, Gwanda, Tsholotsho, South Africa, and Bulawayo patronised the spot.

The festivities showcased Africanacity, with activities including aerobics, games, and traditional cuisine. The atmosphere was vibrant, with women proudly embracing their cultural heritage and identity.

A highlight of the celebration was the “Best Dressed African Attire” competition, where winners received hampers from Acaja Chillspot, alongside other prizes.

Dube expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating, “Africa Day celebrations went smoothly, and the ladies had a fantastic time. Bringing together women from diverse backgrounds to celebrate our shared African heritage is truly rewarding.”

The excitement continues at Acaja Chillspot with an upcoming men’s conference on June 29, themed “Men’s Mental Health Matters”.

Dube stressed the importance of addressing men’s challenges and fostering a culture of open dialogue and support.
