MULTI-award-winning gospel songstress Janet Manyowa on Sunday announced that the much awaited Wanqoba concert in Bulawayo has been postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

The concert was penciled for June 8 at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre Hall 3, and had a line up including Everton Mlalazi, Snowy, Lebo Sekgobela, Khaya Mthethwa, Lorraine Maplanka and Joyful Praise.

In a post on her social media handles, Manyowa said new dates will be out soon.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, it is with deep regret that we announce the postponement of the Wanqoba 2024 Concert which was to be held on the 8th of June at ZITF Hall 3, Bulawayo. NEW DETAILS WILL BE AVAILED SOON. We value your support and apologize for this great inconvenience,” she said.

Manyowa said all tickets remain valid.

The first edition of the Wanqoba concert was held in 2022 at the same venue, marking a significant milestone for Zimbabwean gospel concerts.
