“FOR the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3
This week, let us talk about those waiting seasons we all experience.
We have all been there, waiting for a breakthrough, for a door to open or for a promise to manifest. It can feel incredibly frustrating, as if time has simply stopped.
God’s Word in Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us that God controls time and His timing is perfect.
We are encouraged to wait for the vision, even if it seems delayed. The good news is that God’s favour can accelerate the process. Just one touch of His favour can propel you years down the road!
When God intervenes, things can change rapidly.
Consider Abraham and Sarah, who waited for decades for a child.
Yet, when God’s promise was fulfilled, Isaac was born within a year. God’s speed is unmatched and is not limited by human constraints.
He can act swiftly, supernaturally and beyond our expectations.
As Isaiah 60:22 states, “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
God’s timing is impeccable; He can accelerate the process, bringing things to pass quickly.
So, how do we navigate these waiting periods with faith?
We trust God’s sovereignty, knowing He has a plan to prosper us and not to harm us, a plan to give us hope and a good future, as Jeremiah 29:11 promises. We pray, seeking His guidance and perfect timing.
We remain focused on His promises and refuse to give up. Remember, you are not falling behind. God’s favour has the power to put you years ahead.
Trust His timing, wait in faith and expect great things. As our opening scripture declares, “it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
God’s speed is coming your way!
God has your timeline. He has your breakthrough. He has your miracle. Trust Him, and allow Him to work in your life. Do not give up, and do not lose heart. God’s favour is coming. His speed is coming. Your breakthrough is on the way. Keep pushing forward, keep believing and keep trusting.
As Ecclesiastes 3:1 wisely says, “To everything there is a season.”
But God’s season is always the right season. His timing is perfect. Trust Him, and let Him accelerate your journey.
In conclusion, I want to leave you with this challenge: Wait in faith.
Wait, knowing that God controls time and that He can do things quickly. One touch of God’s favour will put you years down the road. Trust Him, and let Him work wonders in your life.a
