Acting President Mohadi signs book of condolences

ACTING President Dr Kembo Mohadi has today visited the Algerian Embassy in Harare, where he signed the book of condolences on behalf of President Mnangagwa following the death of Algeria’s former leader, Liame Zeroual.

Former President Zeroual died on March 28 at a military hospital in Algiers after a long illness and was buried in his home town of Batna on Monday.

He was 84.

Acting President Dr Mohadi signed the book of condolences in the presence of Algeria’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mohamed Seoudi.

The late leader ruled between 1994 and 1999 before he retired.
