MULTI-TASKING actress and beautician, Joey Nyikadzino, broke down on Facebook live on Tuesday after being trolled about her looks.

Speaking to H-Metro, Joey said she was disappointed to be mocked by fellow women she is empowering.

“I really got emotional after everything that I have done for the female community. It’s the same women we are trying to uplift that call us names after all.

“For this past year, I have managed to enrol the girl child and the boy child for free courses to help them sustain themselves while waiting for universities to open.

“I don’t need anything from the community, but just a little appreciation will do, not trolls. I feel it’s unfair,” she said.

She said she would not be deterred by haters.

“I understand there are bitter people out there, who want to spread their bitterness to everyone.

“When they see you doing your stuff, they can’t just say congratulations, yet they don’t know that by just congratulating a person, it unlocks many locked doors on your side.

“About people using my images to soothe their hatred, I am not worried because that doesn’t change me or what I do, let alone the life that I live.

“Many people don’t have anything to do, hence they spend most of their time looking for ways to break people who are also trying hard.

“My business will never be affected by social media trolls or any negativity. People will always buy as long as you have what they want

“Mind you, my eggs are not in one basket. I am running a multiple stream of businesses.”
