A PEDYO Kure television soapie actress has ventured into the farming industry.
Anastacia Nerima Musakura, who featured as Melody, the maid, is now an agriculture extension officer in Guruve.
Anastacia has become something of a celebrity in the Kadzimwenje rural areas.
“Acting is my calling but my life has changed completely because of farming,” said Anastacia.
“Ndirikurimisa fodya, muvhu munemari uye nhaka yedu.
“Riding a motorbike daily and meeting with farmers is now my daily bread.
“Some villagers are now calling me bhudhi since the extension jobs were mainly for men back in the day.
“Some always ask if I will return to the big and small screens while others enjoy capturing some of my photographs as I discharge my duties,” said Anastacia.
She was trained at Gwebi Agricultural College.
