WELL-KNOWN commissioner of oaths in Mutare,  Mr Julius Tobaiwa, last week lost a wife in an untimely death that shocked the Adventist Church – Mutare Central where the couple fellowshipped and those who knew the Tobaiwas well.

Mr Tobaiwa said the Lord had decided and there was nothing he could do.

“God has decided. I thank Him for giving me a loving and caring wife who gave me two children. That is shocking and painful.

“But God remains good in all His decisions and He does not make mistakes. I accept my fate and circumstance and hope He will guide me and protect me and my children,” said the Adventist Commissioner of Oaths.

“I welcome any advice you may have to make my burden light and please do visit me as often as you can in this trying time,” said Mr Tobaiwa.

Mrs Juliet Tobaiwa nee Mutsamba (37) succumbed to a heart problem last Tuesday and was buried at Yeovil Cemetery last Thursday.

She is survived by her husband and two children, a son, Nenerai (19) and a daughter, Hatina (15).

Mrs Tobaiwa’s death came hardly a month after another similarly shocking death of another Adventist member of the Kingsway Multicultural Church, Mr Victor Chimuchembere.
