ZANU-PF Secretary-General, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, has implored party provincial leadership in Matabeleland North to actively monitor and inspect all Government development projects to ensure they are progressing as planned.

Addressing Politburo and Central Committee members at the party’s provincial headquarters in Lupane on Saturday, Adv Mudenda said party structures have a critical supervisory role over Government programmes.

“You must ensure that all Government projects in the province are progressing well. It is your duty to make sure these projects remain on course because the party supervises the Government,” he said.

He urged party officials to carry out on-the-ground inspections of major infrastructure developments, including the Gwayi-Shangani Dam, and to closely assess implementation details such as workforce composition.

“When you visit these projects, you must also check how many employees are on site and where they come from. Do not fear anything — you have the political power to do that,” said Adv Mudenda.

He further encouraged party members to remain confident in their mandate, emphasising the strength and authority of ZANU-PF structures in driving national development.
