Afro-fusion singer Feli Nandi has added Bulawayo to her ongoing national tour, responding to overwhelming demand from her local fanbase as anticipation builds towards her ambitious “A Night with Feli – Fill Up HICC” concert.

The Bulawayo show is scheduled for June 27 at a local restaurant, where the award-winning artiste is expected to deliver an intimate performance for her fans in the City of Kings.

The tour forms part of the build-up to her landmark concert set for August 14 at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), where she aims to fill the 4 500-seater venue, a major milestone in her steadily rising solo career.

As part of the nationwide rollout, Feli Nandi has already performed in several cities and towns across Zimbabwe. Her tour kicked off in Bindura with a high-energy debut that drew a massive crowd, with such overwhelming turnout that traffic congestion forced organisers to escort the artiste from her vehicle to the venue on foot. Last weekend, she took the tour to Masvingo, where she continued to build momentum ahead of the HICC showcase.

When the initial tour schedule was released last month, Bulawayo was noticeably absent, sparking concern among fans. Her management later clarified that the omission was due to ongoing negotiations to secure a suitable venue, discussions that have now been successfully concluded.

The announcement of the Bulawayo date was met with excitement online, with fans flooding comment sections with reactions such as “Have been waiting for this,” “We will definitely be there,” “Super excited,” and “Finally.”

Feli Nandi, who rose from backing vocalist to one of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated contemporary solo artistes, is known for her signature soulful Afro-fusion sound and strong stage presence. Her popular catalogue includes hits such as Mubayei, Mufudzi Wemombe, Munhu Wangu and Unotyei, which have cemented her reputation as one of the country’s leading voices in modern Afro-fusion music.
