AGAMA striker Tinashe Balakasi has challenged his teammates to arrive and stay at the party as they look for a redemption act in the Northern Region Soccer League.
The Mt Darwin team seems to be losing steam, dropping five points behind leaders N’ombeyawora as the race draws towards the final third.
The two teams are in a fierce Premiership promotion race and three weeks ago they had the same number of points.
Panic is creeping into the Agama changing room, especially after failing to pick up the maximum points over the weekend.
However, they have the chance to redeem themselves when they host Shamva Mine at Pfura Stadium this afternoon.
They will also be praying that unpredictable FC Oden stand resolute against N’ombeyawora at Chinhoyi Stadium.
Agama’s chief striker Balakasi said: “This is a marathon and there is bound to be ups and downs.
“We once hit a downward spiral, but we managed to get our way back up. We were even with the leaders in points for more than three weeks.
“Now we have slid five points behind and we need to work hard to cut the gap. As players, we should maintain consistency.
“We host Shamva Mine today and we know it will be a difficult game but we have only one option, which is to win.”
N’ombeyawora coach Nesbert “Yabo” Saruchera warned his players not to feel comfortable with the five-point cushion as the race is fragile.
