GOSPEL musician, Agartha Murudzwa, is set to perform in Mozambique on June 25.
The musician feels it’s now the right time for her to start penetrating the sub-region.
In an interview with H-Metro, Agartha said she will be travelling early to Mozambique for a meet-and-greet with fans.
“The band and I will be going on the 23rd of June in preparation for the 25th to make sure that everything is in place before the day of the concert.
“We have to go because our fans in Mozambique have been asking us to come and we owe it to them to go.
“I am very excited about going to perform there.
“It is quite a challenge that has been given to us,” she told H-Metro.
The concert is set to happen in Chimio.
“I am going to be playing at Montalto. It is in the city centre.
“For now, we are just going to be performing there only,” she said.
Agartha and her band will be performing for the first time in Mozambique.
“This will be the first time that I will be performing in Mozambique.
“I have been there a couple of times but not to perform.
“I believe that this will be a very good experience for me and my band and will provide us with a lot of exposure as well,” said Agartha.
She said she was happy with the response to her latest EP titled ‘Apostle’s Creed.’
“The responses I have been getting from people are very encouraging.
“We had recorded music but had not released it yet and with the way people are liking our music we are going to release it soon.
“Right now we are working on perfecting the songs we have,” she said.
