Sports Reporter
AIR FORCE Falcons and UZ Stars have been promoted into the Harare Basketball A league after emerging the top two teams at the play-offs at Richwood Park on Saturday. The matches saw Air Force Falcons, UZ Stars and Platinum Ballers competing for the two slots into the A league where they will join 10 other teams for the forthcoming season. In their opening match, UZ Stars beat Air Force Falcons 56-45 before they defeated Platinum Ballers 56-49 to finish on top of the table as they won both their matches.

After losing to UZ Stars, Air Force Falcons put their act together and overpowered Platinum Ballers 50-41. The victory saw them securing their place in the A league.

The play-offs came after the Harare Basketball Association decided to have one league for the 2013 to 2014 season unlike last year, when they had two conferences running at the same time.
