Zone VI gymnastics coming to Zim

ZIMBABWE will host this years’ Southern African Gymnastics championships in December. The championships have been scheduled for December 9 to 13, with eight countries taking part at the Belvedere Technical College in Harare. The gymnasts are going to compete in Aerobics, Trampoline, Tumbling, Artistic and Rhythmic among a host of sports codes.

The countries to feature in the competition are Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia and hosts Zimbabwe. Vice president of the Zimbabwe Gymnastics, Chris Muchatuta, said they were ready to host the big event.

“With the Zone VI competition coming to Zimbabwe, this is an opportunity for our nation to field a strong team with no financial restrictions of travel.”
