THE Air Traffic Controllers Association of Zimbabwe (ATCAZ) has congratulated President Mugabe and Zanu-PF for winning resoundingly the just ended harmonised elections. In a statement sent to the Zanu-PF National Chairman, Senator Simon Khaya Moyo, ATCAZ president, Mr Evans Masuku, said the revolutionary party’s victory was a consolidation of the gains of the liberation struggle.
“The executive board and members of the Air Traffic Controllers Association of Zimbabwe congratulate His Excellency, Comrade RG Mugabe and the revolutionary party Zanu-PF for the landslide victory in the 2013 harmonised elections,” said Mr Masuku.
“We take pride in being associated with the ruling party and especially through you, Sir, the National Chairman, as patron of our association.
“We will forever cherish the great work the party has done for the country from the days of the liberation struggle. Once again we say congratulations and best wishes.”
ATCAZ joins the Sadc, the African Union and scores of progressive forces that have endorsed the outcome of the elections.
Regional observes have said the election was conducted in a transparent manner and that its outcome could not be disputed.
