NATIONAL airline, Air Zimbabwe enjoyed a fruitful festive season as flights to Victoria Falls, Bulawayo and Johannesburg were increased to deal with an improved number of passengers.
In an interview, the airline’s public relations manager, Shingi Taruvinga-Dhliwayo said the airline had experienced a lot of business during the festive season.

“We have been doing double daily flights on the Harare-Bulawayo route.
“On the Harare-Johannesburg there were days we were doing three flights like on Saturdays because of a significant increase in passengers. Remember when we got back to the skies we were only servicing domestic routes but we are now flying to Johannesburg frequently,” she said.

Dhliwayo said reliability had been the core to their resurgence.
“We haven’t experienced delays and postponement of flights of late.

“We have been reliable and our safety record is also one of the best,” she said.
Following its readmission to the International Air Travel Association last year, the flag carrier has been working tirelessly to maintain a fair share on the market.
