AJ’s album inspired by heartbreak

“She was my first love and real relationship. Me being an emotional guy, I decided to channel my hurt into studio and I found myself recording a relationship album.” “She is a TV presenter and not known to a lot of people, so she was comfortable with me using her name.

Talking about his house music album titled ‘Keamogetswe’ he says it talks about relationships and love.

His track This Time featured in the album is making the rounds on radio stations and blowing up as a hot jam in 2015. “It talks about a guy, in a relationship, they both have faults but at the end of the relationship there are lessons learnt and I am confessing. You need to know how to treat a person right, it’s my love story,” says the DJ.

Even after a year since splitting he admits it’s hard to move on. “I’m not necessarily over her, it’s hectic.” — Sowetan.
